When people are
in trouble or
sorrow and need your
help, give it to them.
Whoever in anxiety
or fear needs your
friendship, give it to
them. It isn't important
whether they like you. It
isn't important if you like them.
It isn't important whether you approve
of their conduct. It isn't important what
their creed or nationality may be.
It is one of the beautiful
compensations of this life that no one
can sincerely try to help another wihout
helping himself or herself.
